Two men have been arrested after beating a man with cerebral palsy and posting the incident on social media. Oakland County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to Pontiac’s Phoenix Place Apartments on Woodward near Auburn the morning of November 29th for a possible assault. Police found the victim, a 23-year-old man with cerebral palsy, laying in front of an apartment. Deputies deduced that two suspects came into the victim’s home and stole his cell phone. After being chased by the victim, the suspects beat the 23-year-old inside a stairwell. The pair of attackers filmed the assault and posted it to the victim’s Facebook page as well as their own. After a quick investigation, 20-year-olds Nikey Walker and Shadeed Bey were arrested. The pair of Pontiac residents have been arraigned on Home Invasion, Unarmed Robbery, and Assault with intent to do great bodily harm, and are due back in court on December 8th.
