Detroit police opened a new precinct building Monday: The 7th Precinct on the east side. Police took time out from investigating the shooting spree that occurred over the weekend. The deadly gunfire started Friday night, and continued. Seven are dead from homicides, fourteen others were shot. WJR’s Ken Rogulski was at the precinct opening where Chief James Craig spoke.
