DETROIT, MI — Detroit officials are notifying the public that the Detroit-Windsor tunnel will be closed from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Sunday.
Law enforcement are shutting down the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel in order to perform drills.
The Detroit Department of Homeland Security hold tunnel training exercises at this time each year.
The next two nearest U.S.-Canada border crossings are the Ambassador Bridge near Interstate 75 and West Vernor Highway in Detroit, or the Blue Water Bridge in Port Huron.
