Plans are full steam ahead to build a new bridge between Detroit and Windsor. It needs a name, and it may get one Thursday. Canada’s Prime Minister will get to name the bridge, because Canada is paying for it. It’s expected to cost 2. 1 billion dollars. They are also paying for the customs plaza on the Detroit side of the planned bridge. Canada will be repaid by keeping all the tolls for the life of the bridge. The project had been called the New International Trade Crossing.
