The National Weather Service has issue a flood watch for much of Southeastern Michigan. It is now in effect for counties including: Genesee, Lapeer, Lenawee, Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, Sanilac, Shiawassee, St. Clair, Washtenaw and Wayne.
With periods of heavy rain expected through the weekend, the watch is in effect until Sunday afternoon at 5.
