Detroit police say a father is dead this morning after an attempted robbery in a Wendy’s drive-through Detroit’s west side overnight. Investigators say 2 suspects approached the 28-year-old man’s car, but the man tried to defend himself. That’s when the suspects shot both him and his 9 year old son. Both victims were taken to an area hospital where the dad died of his injuries. The boy is listed in stable condition. The suspects are still at large.
