Just when you thought it was time to head to the water, several area beaches are closed. In Macomb County, the beach at Lake St. Clair Metro Park is closed as is Memorial Beach in St. Clair Shores. And in Oakland County, Adison Oaks Park Beach, Lakeland States Beach in Waterford and the beach at Scott’s Lake in West Bloomfield are all closed for the July 4th holiday. High E. coli levels are the cause.
