Death toll due to GM ignition switches up to 121

The death toll from faulty GM ignition switches now stands at 121. The names of two more people were added. Victim’s families are being offered a million dollars each by attorney Kenneth Feinberg who was hired by General Motors to settle the case. Feinberg’s compensation team has received over 4,300 claims. They deemed 90% deficient or ineligible. About 3% are still under review. GM recalled 2.6 million cars last year but acknowledged knowing about the problem for more than ten years.
