Two firefighters injured battling blaze in Detroit

Two Detroit firefighters are being treated for smoke inhalation. They were injured while working to control a two alarm fire on the city’s west side. Crews are still on the scene of the fire on Lawton and Richton controlling flare ups. The fire started at 2 o’clock this morning in a vacant four family flat and then caught the vacant five-story apartment building next door on fire as well. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
