The historic Park Avenue Hotel in the Cass Corridor was demolished this morning after sitting vacant for over a decade, making way for the new Red Wings Arena. The 13 story building, rigged with over 200 lbs of dynamite came down in less than a minute. Allan Lengel of Deadline Detroit was on site with video.
