Michigan House puts off vote, will have to come up with new plan for roads

The Michigan House put off a 15 cent gas tax increase and other parts of a road package, they don’t have enough votes on the plan. The plan would raise the gas tax by 15 cents over 3 years and cut $700 million from the general fund. The Democrats want a $955 million business tax increase. They say big business in Michigan is getting a free ride on the roads. Republicans are working to put together yet another package.
