Ford will build the new Continental in Flat Rock

Ford is returning its Lincoln Continental to production and it’s going to be made in Michigan. The Continental will hit dealer showrooms sometime next year and will be made in Flat Rock – on the same assembly line as the Ford Mustang and Fusion. About 3,000 employees are at the Flat Rock Plant, spread over two shifts. Ford says no additional jobs will be added. The last Continental rolled off the line at the Wixom plant 14 years ago.
