James Holmes, the man who shot and killed 12 people at a movie theater in Aurora Colorado in July 2012 has been found guilty of first degree murder. Holmes defense tried to plead insanity which would have committed him to a mental health facility right away. Holmes now awaits sentencing where he will either receive life in prison or the death penalty.
