There’s a plan to bring a new hotel, apartments, retail and office space to downtown Royal Oak. The development would be on North Main near the former site of a car dealership which has been vacant for years. A Hyatt Place Hotel and an apartment building are part of the plan, as well as retail and office space and a parking deck. Officials say the project will bring a $48 million and 144 new jobs to the area.
