About 42,000 in metro Detroit are still without power after last night’s storms. Wayne County has 15,000, 8,000 in Oakland County, around 4,000 in Macomb County and 6,000 in Livingston County. There are more than 25,000 outages in the thumb-area. A solid line of thunderstorms brought in heavy rains, sporadic high winds and a possible tornado in Huron County according to the weather service. Rainfall exceeded two inches in some areas. Golf ball sized hail reported in Saginaw.
