Detroit Police is asking for the public’s help in finding missing 6-month-old Melondy Jones. She was abducted in an apparent custody fight. The child was last seen Monday night in the 15700 block of Linwood on the city’s west side. The child was last seen with John Jones who is described as 5’10” and approximately 220 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and blue Nike shoes. Jones walked away with the 6-month-old in a stroller without the mother’s permission He is also wanted on parole absconder warrant.
