This is election day for a number of local communities,. The Pontiac School District is asking voters to pass a 2.8 millage for building improvements over 5 years. The Clarenceville and Hamtramck school districts have a non-homestead renewal. Garden City police and fire ask voters to approve a millage of 3.5 mils for 5 years. Hazel Park voters will decide on 2.25 mils over 15 years for police services. Northville has a general millage to generate 2.25 mils for 15 years. Royal Oak Township also has a general millage, asking for 4.5 mils for 4 years. Warren has a city council primary as well.
