Man fires gun during M-14 road rage incident

State police arrested a 38-year-old Whitmore Lake man  in a road rage shooting.  Police say he admitted to firing a gunshot out of his car after he was involved in a crash with another vehicle  on eastbound M-14.  it started on southbound US-23 near Joy Road and ended on eastbound M-14 near Ford road in Superior Township.

The 25-year-old driver of the other car, who is from Brighton, was first to call 911. The Whitmore Lake man also called 911, he told troopers he put his gun out the driver’s side window and fired a single shot. No one was hurt. The shooter was arrested and is being held at the Washtenaw County jail pending charges.
