Police in New Baltimore and in Clay Township both getting reports of a similar situation involving a stranger this week. New Baltimore Police Chief Tim Wiley says a mother was out with her son riding a bike Thursday morning when the boy got ahead of her — but she could still see him. She noticed a white van and a woman talking to her son. When the mother called out to her son, the woman ran back to her vehicle and sped off. A similar situation happened in Clay Township. Anyone with information is asked to call police.
