Twenty-four people were indicted in what federal investigators are calling a large scale drug distribution and dog-fighting ring on the city’s east side. The operation was big: 16 houses, mostly abandoned, were used to sell cocaine and heroine. US Attorney Barbara McQuade says a search of those structures yielded guns and drugs.
