Kwame Kilpatrick has been denied a new trial. The 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals denied a new trial, thus reaffirming his racketeering and income tax evasion conviction. The appeals court also reaffirmed the conviction of co-defendant Bobby Ferguson who’s serving 21 years.
