A DTE Energy worker is recovering from a gunshot wound on Detroit’s east side. The utility worker was sitting in a DTE Energy vehicle near Van Dyke and Marcus when a man knocked on the passenger-side window. The worker started to drive away then noticed that the man had a gun. He was shot in the hand. The worker was out looking at damage from Friday evening storms.
