The two Lansing legislators who were involved in an affair could face expulsion. The Michigan House has taken up a resolution that could lead to the ouster of both Representative Cindy Gamrat and Representative Todd Courser. The resolution was introduced Wednesday night by House Speaker Kevin Cotter. It calls for the formation of a select committee to examine the qualifications of Gamrat and Courser to hold office. They are both under investigation for possible misconduct and criminal violations.
