The Detroit Fire Department took delivery of 10 new fire engines. With these new engines, one-third of the DFD fleet is brand new. Daryl Adams, CEO of Spartan Motors, says the Detroit fire trucks are customized to fit inside the older, smaller fire houses. The cab and chassis were built by Spartan Motors, head quartered in Charlotte, Michigan. WJR’s Ken Rogulski taked to Adams:
