A University of Michigan professor is scheduled to be arraigned Monday on felony sex charges in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. 51-year-old James Cavalcoli is being charged with traveling to Florida to have sex with a 14-year-old boy. He was arrested earlier this month near Fort Lauderdale. Authorities say Cavalcoli was caught through an undercover sting operation after going on a social networking web site that catered to men which included an area for discussing sexual fetishes involving young boys. Cavalcoli had taught at Michigan for 13 years where he was an assistant professor of computational medicine and bio-informatics.
