Ray Township police officer charged in shooting to be sentenced

32-year-old Clifford Gullion of Ray Township will be sentenced Tuesday in connection with a shooting. Authorities say he fired several shots into a home in Ray Township because he was angry with what the home owners had said about his wife. She worked for the couple, who are in their 60’s, in the home. They were home at the time of the shooting, but were not hurt. Gullion, who was on medical leave at the time of the shooting, was suspended from the police department following the incident. He pled no contest to two counts each of illegal discharging of a firearm.
