Prices at the gas pump could continue falling. BP says that part of it’s big refinery at Whiting, Indiana that went down earlier this month is getting back on line. The unexpected shutdown caused gas prices to skyrocket. BP says it has re-started a large crude oil distillation unit that shut down August 8th for unscheduled repairs. They say it plans to increase production gradually. As a result, gasbuddy.com says prices in Michigan and surrounding states could fall from 20 to 50 cents a gallon in the next 2 weeks, barring new problems.
