Shelby Township man charged with embezzling 20K from youth baseball league

A Shelby Township man accused of embezzling $20,000 dollars from his youth baseball league. 51-year-old Wallace Wolfe, Jr. ran the Detroit Metro Stars baseball league. It helps youngsters aged 8 through 18 preparing them to play high school and, in some cases, college baseball. Officials say he used the money he embezzled to buy a vehicle, pay for a trip to Florida and pay bills for himself and members of his family. Prosecutors say the money was raised at charity gaming events such as millionaire parties.
