The first trial stemming from dozens of lawsuits filed against the automaker have been consolidated and will be heard by a federal judge in New York next January.

Former General Motors CEO, Rick Wagoner, is scheduled to be deposed today.

GM’s Senior Vice President of Global Connected Customer Experience, Alicia Boler-Davis, will be questioned tomorrow.

GM was severely criticized for its lengthy delay in recalling vehicles with the ignition switch defect. Attorneys for people affected by crashes accuse GM of a cover up.
