Guilty plea in shooting of French street artist

A man has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the fatal shooting of a French street artist during a robbery outside a vacant Detroit housing project. Drequone Rich entered the plea. He’ll be sentenced later this month. Bilal Berreni, of Paris, France, was found dead in July 2013. He had no identification, and it took seven months before police identified him through fingerprints. Two others were also charged.
