Reports: Fiat Chrysler’s wage increases for both new and longtime workers under new deal with UAW

According to reports, there will be wage increases for both new and longtime autoworkers at Fiat Chrysler who are represented by the UAW under the new tentative agreement. The new deal would set a wage range for entry-level workers from more than $17/hour to more than $25/hour over a period of years, according to the Detroit Free Press and Bloomberg News. The contract also would give workers hired before 2007 their first raise in 10 years. The UAW is planning to brief elected leaders from across the country on all of the details.
