Woman arraigned for stabbing on Detroit bus

A Detroit woman is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday in the stabbing death of a second woman on a Detroit bus. 29-year-old Tiffany Edwards is charged in the death of 50-year-old Charla Williams. Witnesses testified during a preliminary exam that the two women had been arguing with each other and that it escalated. One witness says Williams accidently bumped Edwards as they were getting off of the bus. But Edwards’ attorney says his client was attacked and hit in the face with a walker Williams was using and acted in self defense  as she pulled a knife and stabbed her.
