This week marks the first full week that the Michigan Legislature will be back in session since late June. They are facing issues that range from fixing the state’s roads to fixing the Detroit Public Schools. The top priority, of course, is finding ways to raise an added 1.2 billion dollars need for road and bridge repair work. The House and Senate both have passed different plans for coming up with the money.
