Two people were killed in a construction zone accident on I-94. The driver died after his vehicle struck two construction workers, killing one and critically injuring the other. State police say Marvin Harris of Detroit hit two construction workers and a parked construction vehicle in the closed lane of -I-94 near Livernois.
One of the construction workers, identified as Rafael Castillo-Saavedra of Detroit, was pronounced dead at the scene. Harris was also pronounced dead at the scene, the second construction worker remains in critical condition according to MDOT.
