Body found on the playground of Plymouth elementary school

The body of an adult male was found on a playground of Smith Elementary School in Plymouth. Police say there were no signs of foul play and the discovery was made early this morning before the start of class. The investigation is ongoing.

The Christ Child Society of Detroit provides services to children in the city of Detroit who have been victims of abuse, neglect, and trauma, with the Christ Child House serving the community for more than 100 years. Spokeswoman Laura Keziah explained Christ Child also has several other programs that serve the community such as the layette program which offers new mothers’ necessities for bringing a newborn home. In addition, there is a reading program where volunteers head to local schools to read to children and provide them with books to keep.
