Former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick has lost another appeal for a new trial. The US Sixth Circuit Court of appeals full bench refused to hear the appeal. In August, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals upheld the corruption conviction and the 28 year prison sentence against Kilpatrick. He requested a full bench hearing. If Kilpatrick wants to continue, he’d have to appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court.
