There is a strike deadline in place for General Motors if the company can’t reach an agreement with the UAW by 11:59 Sunday night. Union officials say setting a strike deadline is not uncommon in the bargaining process. Earlier this month, the UAW set a strike deadline for Fiat Chrysler, but a deal was reached 20 minutes before the deadline expired.
