A heroin antidote may soon be available over the counter if a state drug task force’s recommendation is accepted. The task force was started by Governor Snyder to look at ways to cut down on the spike in heroin overdose deaths. Snyder is expected to talk about the committee’s findings at a press conference today at the Detroit Medical Center.
