A 1-year-old girl was killed and a 3-year-old boy was airlifted to the hospital Sunday after a townhouse fire in Romulus. The children’s mother was arrested because she wasn’t home when the fire started. Firefighters found the children in an upstairs bedroom, where the girl was in a bed and the boy was on the floor. A third child was not in the home at the time of the fire.
