Detroiter’s can speak out on the budget

Detroiter’s can get some insight into the city’s money situation today and also provide some input about how the city should spend its money. It’s all taking place in a public hearing from 6 until 8 o’clock tonight at the Coleman A. Young community center at 2751 Robert Bradby Drive. Officials from the city’s budget department will be on hand to describe the city’s economic condition and its priorities in dealing with city services. In addition to budget department officials, representatives from the public works, health, public lighting, recreation, police and fire will be present. Departments will also be on hand to answer questions.
