Technical malfunction not to blame for downed Russian plan

egypt-russia-plane-crash-1101-exlarge-teaseA Metrojet official is rejecting the possibility of a technical fault for the Russian plane crash in Egypt on Saturday October 31st. More than 220 people were on the Russian jetliner when it went down in a remote area of Egypt’s Sinai. Egyptian officials are backing away from earlier statements that the Russian airliner that crashed in Egypt “broke up in the air.” Egypt’s president Abdel Fattah el-Sisi said it’s important to not speculate on what caused the crash. He said the investigation will take “a long time” and require very advanced technologies. The plane’s flight and voice data recorders were recovered and will be used to reveal the cause of the plane’s crash.
