A Detroit freeway was closed for several hours overnight because of a murder on the freeway. State police say a man was shot and killed in an incident on Westbound I-94 near Chalmers. Police were trying to determine the identity of the victim. Police are not giving any more details about the shooting. The freeway was closed between Outer Drive and Chalmers for several hours as police investigated. The freeway is now open.
