Detroit police say a 9-year-old west side Detroit boy shot and killed himself with shotgun inside a home on Barton Street near Livernois and Tireman. The boy’s father and at least one other child were in the house. No one else was hurt. The boy’s father has been arrested on a felony warrant out of Southfield.
