A Detroit family is standing watch at Detroit’s Children’s Hospital for a 3-week-old Elizabeth Meyers, who was critically injured in a car crash. The infant underwent brain surgery and remains in critical condition. The infant’s mother, 36-year-old mother Dawn Spicer, was killed in the same car crash on Saturday at I-75, south of Dix Highway. Spicer leaves behind Elizabeth and her 11-year-old son Devin.
