Donald Trump said he wouldn’t be at the December 15th debate unless CNN paid him $5-million, saying the network makes money off his appearances. He said he’d then hand the money over to Wounded Warriors or some other veteran organization. But show-biz trade publication “Variety” reports CNN Worldwide President Jeff Zucker rejected the idea, saying CNN doesn’t pay candidates to appear on the network. Trump said he’ll show up anyway, having told The Washington Post “When you’re leading in the polls, I think it’s too big of a risk to not do the debate.”
