Product Recall: Dedinas-Franzak Enterprises Recalls Meijer Caramel Corn 10oz as an undeclared Milk allergen. The Meijer brand Caramel Corn is on shelves in Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, and Ohio. While butter is listed as an ingredient, milk is not specifically named in the Allergen Statement. No illnesses have been associated with the product. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk may run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.

Approximately 62,000 units of Meijer Caramel Corn were distributed throughout the Meijer chain; this product is sold in the snack aisle.  Product Expiration Dates included in the recall are the following: 8/23/15, 10/10/15, 10/28/15, 11/19/15, 11/21/15, 11/27/15, 12/5/15, 12/12/15, 12/25/15, 12/30/15, 1/25/16, 2/29/16, 3/18/16, 3/19/16, 3/28/16. These date codes can be found in black ink printed on the front top right of the package.
