The owner of a pack of killer pit bull dogs has been charged with murder. The Wayne County Prosecutor is charged 41-year -old Geneke Lyons with second-degree murder and manslaughter. Lyons owned the dogs that attacked and killed 4-year-old Xavier Strickland as he was walking on a sidewalk with his mother. Police say the dogs were known to be dangerous and had escaped their fenced-in yard in the past. The boy’s parents have also sued.
