Unhappy teachers are closing 5 Detroit schools by calling in sick. Samuel Gompers, Ann Arbor trail, Bates Academy, Detroit College Prep at Northwestern, Paul Robeson- Malcolm X are closed Thursday. The teacher’s sick out is to protest state plans of what they say is neglect of Detroit schools. They closed down some schools earlier this month.
