A 34-year-old Hamtramck man, Aaron Massey, is scheduled for sentencing on Thursday for his criminal sexual misconduct conviction. Massey was a staff member at the Boys and Girls Club of Troy. Last year, a Sterling Heights mother of a ten-year-old boy filed a complaint with the police after her son told her he had been repeatedly sexually assaulted inside the club. Two other youngsters came forward with similar charges against Massey. Judge Martha D. Anderson will sentence Massey and he is facing up to 15 years in prison. Meanwhile, the Sterling Heights mother, who filed the first complaint, is suing Massey and the club because she claims the club failed to provide adequate care for her son and properly supervise Massey.
