Increased security measures in place at major themed parks

Disney World

Stronger security measures are in place at some of the biggest theme parks in the country. Disney and Universal Studios are adding metal detectors at entrances to their theme parks in California and Florida. SeaWorld in Orlando is also now using metal detectors to screen guests. As part of the increased security measures, Disney has stopped selling toy guns and will no longer allow them inside its parks. Disney will also disallow visitors over 14-years-old to wear costumes in their parks.
